In my opinion, this is the best schnitzel in Ulm. Of course, you can't just drop by spontaneously, because it's usually always super full. But if you've made a reservation or pre-ordered something to take away, you won't regret it. The schnitzels are always very fresh and the side dishes are fresh and very tasty. Personally, I love the side salad, a colorful mix of different salads and seasonal vegetables, plus the delicious homemade dressing.

Nice restaurant in the heart of Söflingen .. very easy to reach either by car or tram, stop 50 m away .. Friendly staff who are very courteous .. Mega schnitzel which doesn't just consist of breading .. Not only for the big hunger, also to be recommended in terms of taste. I will definitely visit again ..

Great restaurant with a cozy flair and a straightforward but skilful menu. No 10 dishes, based on "Viennese style" schnitzel. And they're good at it! The lamb's lettuce is nice and refreshing at higher temperatures, the drinks menu offers plenty of choice for young and old and the location is well located. Whether inside or outside, you can sit here very comfortably and informally. I like to say "home-style". We would come back anytime. It goes without saying that the schnitzel is highly recommended ... ;-)

Food was really delicious. A legendary schnitzel (xxl) with homemade spaetzle, fries and salad ... mmmhhh. Beer was delicious too. Nice service ... gladly again anytime. Only the outside area is on a small street and in a small backyard ... that's why four stars ... tenants five stars.

As always super delicious! We pick up in corona times. Even after 10 minutes of transportation, everything is still hot and fresh. The last time our salads were forgotten and even delivered! Thank you for the service, we always come back!

If you want to eat giant schnitzel, this is the place for you. The schnitzel are mega-sized - see also pictures - taste very good and the price of the portion is okay. The staff was super nice and very attentive. Should we be here again, this is a preferred address for dining.

The best Schnitzelerlebnis in Ulm what there is. Great big portions. The nice thing is you hear the chef knocking the schnitzel and preparing. If the beer garden is open in good weather it is great to sit outside. This is a must for all woodcarving lovers.

This place is incredible! We arrived to their small, quaint brewpub, and instantly felt like we belonged. The staff spoke English (a huge plus for us Americans) and very friendly. They sat us at a table of Germans who were regulars and they helped us decide on ordering schnitzel which apparently Zum Schatten is is known for having the largest schnitzel around. We ordered, got our food and were VERY impressed. It was absolutely delicious. Their beer options were also very good and simple. Thankful we found this place. Make it your dinner tonight!

Specialty in Snitchel, which you can order in two sizes. The small size is already big, the one they say big is really gigantic. My photos are of the "little one" Well cooked and very rich; the accompaniment can vary between chips, salad or a pasta with cheese or in sauce Moderate prices and friendly and efficient service. A place with lots of charm, very nice and attentive staff. The food is wonderful, very large portions (my picture is of the small plate and with that they eat two, so beware brave). I liked it so I'll keep trying other dishes.

Actually, we just wanted to take a look. The store was so busy on a Monday that we stayed the same. During the evening we had to move together quite nicely. Two small schnitzel please, once with fries and once with cheese spaetzle, in addition to a large salad 🤗 We could have shared one, well, there is still today a Schnitzelwecken 🤣🤣🤣
